Sawyers Landing RV & Marina

Right in the river. Warmer and sunnier than the coast....by a lot!!!!

Cozy little spot where you are very close to your neighbors but the back of your rig will point right out to the water so you wake up with a great view. No Ubers around here so if you plan on going to the Town of Newport you must get a taxi. Tavern right across the street which would have been fun but it is still closed because of Covid. Still a nice relaxing place to be.

We were driving up the Oregon coast and needed a place to stop for the night. We found Sawyers and were greeted on the phone by a very friendly Mandy. Although the main RV park area was full, she said we could stay in the one space she had in another area. She wouldn’t be there when we arrived so said to come to the store in the morning to pay. It was less than $40. Great! The area we stayed on looked like it was for long term or full timers, but it was totally fine with us. E&W no problem. We had a lovely evening there, cooking and eating outside, watching the sunset, and listening to our favorite music (not loud).
