With the motorhome buttoned up, the noise was typical for an easy on/off park. We stayed in December so of course pool was closed. The manager made us feel welcome and offered advice for seeing the area and restaurants. Peggy Sue's Diner..fun along old US 66. Super neat and clean. Rate reflects Good Sam.

We stayed here in March '16. Very nice place. Two ponds which attracted a lot of birds. Normal traffic noise for being just off I-40. The manager was very friendly and made us welcome. The only problem I could see is the there was only 1 shower for the men and 1 shower for the women. But even with that I can see us staying here again when we are passing through.

Easy to get to and allowed Q-dog to swim in the pond. She was in heaven since we had been traveling all day and it was hot. We stayed in a back-up site but there are many pull-thru to handle any size rig. I would have to agree that the only complaint is one restroom/shower for men and women. Not a deal breaker for me. The management is very friendly and accommodating.

Surprisingly nice little park in the middle of nowhere.
This is one of those areas where the interstate's killing of the Mother Road is very apparent. At first glance the RV park looks like one of the victims. But once you pull in and get set up you appreciate the well maintained grounds, the friendly staff, and the unnatural blue water in the ponds.
Our site was level gravel with FHU 50 amps. Everything worked well. We didn't use their WiFi or laundry/pool/showers, but all of that is available.
Maybe a couple seasonal sites, but very well kept up. You're right on I-40 so you hear road noise all the time but it isn't bothersome. Trains in the distant add to the ambiance of wide open spaces.
Bright security lights obscure most of the desert stars, but a short walk gives great access to the night sky.
We were just en route to somewhere else, but when we return to play in the desert we would definitely stay here again.

Plain but extremely well kept and friendly. Sites gravel with picnic tables (on gravel) and full hookups. Discount for cash, discount for AAA, AARP, Good Sam, etc. Close to I-40 and the railroad, but I didn't find the noise bothersome. The place is certainly easy to find. It is small, so you want to call ahead, although they did have some "dry camping" spots in the middle that did not fill up. The other campers were friendly, and I had a good feeling about the place. I will definitely stop here again on my way to Arizona.

Pros: Level sites for pull-throughs; Friendly staff; Easy to find from I-40; Good power and water pressure; Well-maintained; Picnic tables at each site; Laundry facility (but old machines); Fun being on Route 66.
Cons: Older shower room in Bath House and only one shower stall for each gender; Dirt sites so dusty; No shade; Noise from trains and highway; WiFi costs $2.50 if you can access it.

We stayed one night in mid-June, which just happened to be the hottest day of the year (so far) at 112. The electric hook up was perfect as our A/C ran constantly until about 4 in the morning. This is a good one night stopover from here to there, easy on-easy off and a quick drive to Barstow for cheaper gas. Actually staying here again in mid-July on our way from there to here. It's a small older park that could use work, but is carefully taken care of as is. I could not hear the freeway traffic. WIFI sporatic and slow.

Very friendly staff. Small RV park right off the 40 on Route 66. Full hook up pull thru sites. Small pool but very well maintained. Sites were fairly level gravel spots. Clean. Some people complain about the highway noise but we went in June and the temp was 104 so our AC unit was on and drowned out all outside noise. Windy in the afternoons so don’t keep you awnings out.

This was a cute rv stop for us. We are heading south to San Diego from Las Vegas and some thing didn’t go as planned so we had to stop here for the night to prepare for the next stop, and we enjoyed this rv park a lot for the little time we were there. Clean sites with a lot of space, phone service, full hookup

For a one night say it is ok. Right next to interstate but not much else around. Fit our drive daily distance schedule. Nothing to do in the area... the Newberry Spring dried up in '94, Pisgah Crater is in the area, we looked and could not find it.
