Red Ball Parking Garage

This historic garage was, and some would say still is, the starting line for the infamous Cannonball Run race. The idea is to start here, and drive by any route you choose to reach the Portofino Inn in Redondo Beach, CA. The first race's winning time was 35 hours and 54 minutes, but the record has since been broken several times. The most recent record attempt was made in 2013.  The garage is still a functioning pay garage, with hourly and daily rates in Midtown Manhattan.
