An active aid to navigation, built in 1934 at the mouth of the Oswego River to replace an earlier light constructed in 1880. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States of America, owned by the City of Oswego and operated by the United States Coast Guard.
We tried to go here in Feb, the maritime museum was closed and the lighthouse is in the middle of the lake and probably only accessible by boat. We couldn’t tell how far out the platform went out from the museum bc it was gated off but it definitely wasn’t all the way out to the lighthouse. It looked really pretty though.
