The Breslin

The Breslin, a gastropub by April Bloomfield inside the Ace Hotel, is a great place to visit during happy hours, with its lively atmosphere. if there is one reason to come to the Breslin, it is one of the best burgers in town: chargrilled lamb burger with feta, cumin mayo thrice cooked chips. Lamb is perfectly cooked and offers so much richness in flavor. Along with the thrice cooked chips, this dish is one of the best bar foods you will ever get in Manhattan. Just make sure you pick something light such caesar salad with anchovy before taking on this monster burger. The Breslin also has a really good selection of cocktails and beers to complement the food! Breslin also shares the title of the "best gin and tonic' in the city. Their riff on the recipe is twofold. The first: 'lavender tonic' uses Beefeater Gin with lavender bitters, mint, and bitter lemon tonic. Their second: the 'garden tonic' uses Hendrick's Gin, cucumber, celery bitters, and tonic.
