Royal Carriage drivers have over 160 years of combined tour guide experience.
We did the 1 hour tour at 10:00 in the morning. I would suggest touring the Quarter either early in the day or late in the day as heat and humidity are serious business. We had 4 kids in our group (ranging from 1.5-7 years old). Our tour guide did a good job keeping the tour interesting for them but still informative for us. She also did a great job of explaining the more torrid parts New Orleans history without me having to explain things with a 7 year old that I'm not ready to explain. The cemetery tour was very cool. Recommend bringing water with you as the cemetery was very hot even in the morning. Tour guide said the cemetery gets very full some days so again an early tour is probably better as it was just us and one other group in while we were there. I would highly recommend this as a way to see the quarter. Guide let the kids give the mule a treat after our tour. We had a great time.
This was very enjoyable. We went at night and it was very informative. Find one that will give you a tour not just a ride.
