Quinet's Restaurant

In every community there is always a place where citizens gather to discuss affairs of the day and have their cup of coffee. The Court Restaurant is that place in New Martinsville. Founded in the early 1900's, the "Court" was purchased by the Quinet family in 1939. In the late 50's the "Court" expanded to their first private dining room, and in 1978 a modern, larger dining room was added. This has become a meeting place for many Civic groups such as Rotary, Quota, Jaycees, Lions as well as Wetzel Bar Association, Court Prayer Breakfast and many others. From the small cafe in the 1920's it has tripled its size, to include five private dining rooms, and has expanded its services. One of the largest caterers in the Ohio Valley. History of The Quinet's Court Restaurant: A large portrait of the late Jack Dempsey has hung on the walls of the Court since the 1940's commemorating his visit to the Court Cafe. There are also many other historical pictures of local people and events. Feel free to walk thru and look around. Please make yourself at home in our restaurant. We operate one of the finest and largest catering services in the Ohio Valley, serving all industries, organizations, and others, from large formal affairs down to small private parties. Our restaurant is known for its homecooked foods. Everything is prepared here in our kitchen with no preservatives, just like mom used to make.
