“Picturesque views to enjoy with your seafood”
This lobster pound attracts hordes in summer thanks to its scenic coastal location with postcard views of a working harbor. (It's so picturesque that Hollywood filmed scenes of the Kevin Costner film Message in a Bottle here.) Eat on the open deck upstairs or in the indoor dining room; you can even order beer and shooters from the raw bar downstairs. This is one of very few lobster joints in Maine with a full liquor license, and it's renowned for its simple but meaty lobster rolls.
