Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on August 05, 2021I loved camping here. Our loop was up on a ridge with plenty of space and trees between the sites. Very quiet on a Friday night as well. The bathrooms were clean but showing their age. The metal partitions between the stalls were starting to rust and that looked bad. The setup for dumping gray water was unusual with big trap doors covering normal sized drains. You may need someone to help you hose things down, though. The valve for the hose was really tough to operate.
Again, this is a beautiful place. The woods here spoke to me.

This is a great park if all you need is a home base for other excursions. It’s obvious the park was well designed but ongoing maintenance has not been kept up. Bathrooms were clean-ish but no water pressure in showers and constantly empty paper towel dispenser. Low branches in the park and dump station tore up my antenna. Given all that it is one of the closest to my family. If you like a sort of scout camp feeling this is your place. Sites are dirt. Staff was friendly. Movie nights and a food truck on weekends. Pool and other things in park cost extra!!!

Tomlinson Run is a nice state park with plenty to do. The campground was clean. They have electric and rustic sites both. All electric sites are 30 amp hookups. Most sites are back in with a few pull through. Shower house was clean. Nice little camp store with the basics. They do have a dump station available. Tomlinson Run has a small lake with fishing and paddle boats, mini golf, several playgrounds, hiking and biking trails, NO atv’s allowed, swimming pool, and pavilions are available. I enjoy this park and will continue to visit and camp here! All campsites are gravel with the exception of handicap spots (they are paved). All campsites have a fire ring also.

We stayed for 1 night while visiting family in the area. Site 6 is a large electric pull through in the Chief Bigfoot Section. Because we were there mid-week the campground was very quiet and peaceful. Ranger stated that it fills up on the weekends

We were able to book this just an hour or so ahead of time online, but upon arrival, our paid-for campsite was ADA which online info had not indicated! Since the park was far from full and it was already 6 pm, we stayed there rather than risk moving. Sadly, we were just a couple of spots down from the park host, who thought it was fun/appropriate to have a giant Halloween decoration, a 9 ft tall talking scarecrow, outside their RV that brayed stupid sentiments every time a pedestrian or car went by. Restrooms are pretty groddy and dated but when you need a shower, you make do. Deep woods, a bit buggy but nice privacy in sites. The dumpster at the dump station was industrial size and full up, and stunk badly but its some distance from campsites.
