“beach front in New Castle”

The Great Island Common is comprised of 32 acres of seaside greenspace and beach. The Common is open to the public 365 days a year from 9am to 9pm. The Common is owned and operated by the Town of New Castle. The Common is not a state of NH Park. All reservations are on a first come first serve basis. For reservations of pavilions or tent rental areas please call 603-431-6710 ext 10, all other inquires regarding the park please call 603-436-1992. No PETS allowed in the Common or on the Beach from May 15th to September 15th. We currently do not accept credit cards. Reservations for the Pavilions and the purchase of Non-resident Common passes will be accepted beginning on May 1, 2018 at the New Castle Town Hall. No early reservations accepted. Exceptions being weddings for current year and schools for current year. Wedding rentals will be accepted for the 2018 season on January 1, 2018. The Great Island Common is officially closed for the 2017 calendar year, bath houses are now closed until May 2018.
