Harmony House Inn

The Harmony House Inn is an 8,000 square foot, Greek Revival style two-story home located in the heart of the historic district of New Bern, North Carolina. Originaly built in 1883 by Turpentine Merchant Benjamin Ellis, this totally restored historic property has operated as a premier Bed and Breakfast since 1985. Four blocks from the historic Tryon Palace and one block from the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center, the Inn is just steps away from quaint shopping, art galleries, restaurants and other attractions. The Harmony House is furnished with the unique blend of European, African, and American Artwork, locally handcrafted and fine furniture, antiques and other memorabilia. This unusually spacious house features three ground-floor guest suites each with private bathroom, and six second-floor guest suites of which two are luxury King suites featuring bathrooms with whirlpool tubs. Additionally, the Inn includes a comfortable parlor and formal dining room, cozy reading nook, a game corner, upstairs conversation area and a full width front porch for guests to enjoy.
