“enjoy a relaxing & enjoyable stay”
Nashville KOA, located in the music capital of Tennessee, is just minutes away from the bright lights of Music City. It's the perfect place to stumble across the next rising country music star. Located in the Music Valley area of Nashville, this KOA is just two miles from the Grand Ole Opry, Opry Mills shopping and the Willie Nelson and Friends Museum and General Store. The friendly staff at the tour desk can assist with tickets and tours to area attractions, including the Grand Ole Opry, sightseeing tours of the city and historic plantations, and various music venues. Tours leave right from the campground. This KOA hosts top-notch entertainment at the on-site Goodman Hall (in-season), which is also available to rent for private events and special occasions. Back at the campground, relax in KOA's country-like setting with beautiful shade trees. Your family is sure to enjoy the campground's many activities, themed weekends and large swimming pool. Pool: May 1 - October 15. Max pull thru: 102 feet.
Second time at this KOA. A variety of sites available. I chose a "premium" site which is pretty large, well maintained and has a nice patio area with furniture and a stone fire ring. Rate worked out to $93.41 / night which isn't the most expensive KOA I've been at. KOA members receive a 10% discount and of course, KOA points add up if you use them consistently. Overall, compared to some other non-KOA "resorts" I've stayed at, and for what they offer, it's a decent rate. (I think the rate was also a little higher than usual due to the CMA Fest). Free wifi and I have had both great and poor connections depending on number of guests and time of day I suppose.
The park offers a lot of activities with a really nice pool, outdoor games, children's play area and jump pad and a small but well equipped exercise room. Two nice, enclosed dog "parks." There is "Notes Cafe" which offers basic fare for breakfast and lunch. Cable TV is free and there are also good OTA channels. Lots of trees so a fixed satellite may be difficult. They have a shuttle which for $10. round-trip, will take you downtown, within a couple of blocks of Broadway. Runs from 10a.m. -12:30a.m. M-T 10a.m.-1:30a.m. F-S and 10-9:30 pm on Sundays. Well worth it to get downtown without hassling with traffic and parking. There a number of close and really good dining options. Of course, The Grand Ole Opry, the Opry Mills Mall, the Gaylord Opryland Resort (go spend a couple hours here - its not just a hotel), and a number of other restauarants is only about a 5 minute drive. There is a Camping World just a couple of blocks down the road. There is so much to see and do in Nashville - if you haven't been yet, add it to your next trip.
Large campground in a great location. Very clean and well maintained. Pricey but would definitely stay here again when in Nashville.
This campground had a ton of great family amenities (exceptional pool, different yard games, nice bathrooms, nice clubhouse, etc.) and is very close to downtown
This is such a great KOA. The bathrooms are clean. My boys love the pool, which is HUGE. They also liked renting the go karts to ride around the park.
If you don't have your car, then they have a shuttle to Downtown Nashville, which runs regularly.
Our site was flat and had plenty of space, even though it wasn't premium. Great staff there, too.
Very nice place. Will stay again!
Incredible! This was our first time staying at a campground in an RV with our 6-year-old son and although it rained both days we were there, we still had a blast. This is a FANTASTIC place for folks with kids, and the breakfast was to die for! We will DEFINITELY be back when it’s warmer because the pool/hot tub/bouncy pad area looked like it would be so much fun. This campground is very conveniently located super close to Opryland and a Cracker Barrel restaurant- mmmm! Our pull-through space had very nice outdoor furniture (in perfect condition) and a fire pit. The whole campground is surrounded by a solid, white privacy fence and the area was very quiet. Super quaint, super fun, super convenient. My favorite combo when it comes to travel destinations!
Close access to Nashville attractions. We even used uber very easily and the cost was close to the cost of parking. The park also has a shuttle to take you down town. This was a very clean, quiet, well kept park. Spots were close together. We weren't able to use our fire pit or sit outside because our site was muddy due to rain. But our site was more the exception than the rule. The customer service was great, including escort to our spot and help getting the rv parked, even in the pouring rain!
The most amazing KOA. I'm so glad that it was the last we stayed at during our roadtrip. I met a woman in my travels who was basically taking my trip, but backwards. While every KOA I stayed at was better than the one before it, for her every KOA fell short of this Mecca! Easy to get in and out of the city yourself but there is a shuttle available
Staff was amazing! Especially Nancy and the older gentleman doing maintenance! We had a slight problem, our daughter was allergic to their bedding and they solved it very quickly. The manager was kind enough to reimburse us for new bedding but I thought it was strange we never saw or met the person because they said he wasn't in uniform (that was the only reason we gave didn't give it 5 stars)
