Second time at this KOA. A variety of sites available. I chose a "premium" site which is pretty large, well maintained and has a nice patio area with furniture and a stone fire ring. Rate worked out to $93.41 / night which isn't the most expensive KOA I've been at. KOA members receive a 10% discount and of course, KOA points add up if you use them consistently. Overall, compared to some other non-KOA "resorts" I've stayed at, and for what they offer, it's a decent rate. (I think the rate was also a little higher than usual due to the CMA Fest). Free wifi and I have had both great and poor connections depending on number of guests and time of day I suppose.
The park offers a lot of activities with a really nice pool, outdoor games, children's play area and jump pad and a small but well equipped exercise room. Two nice, enclosed dog "parks." There is "Notes Cafe" which offers basic fare for breakfast and lunch. Cable TV is free and there are also good OTA channels. Lots of trees so a fixed satellite may be difficult. They have a shuttle which for $10. round-trip, will take you downtown, within a couple of blocks of Broadway. Runs from 10a.m. -12:30a.m. M-T 10a.m.-1:30a.m. F-S and 10-9:30 pm on Sundays. Well worth it to get downtown without hassling with traffic and parking. There a number of close and really good dining options. Of course, The Grand Ole Opry, the Opry Mills Mall, the Gaylord Opryland Resort (go spend a couple hours here - its not just a hotel), and a number of other restauarants is only about a 5 minute drive. There is a Camping World just a couple of blocks down the road. There is so much to see and do in Nashville - if you haven't been yet, add it to your next trip.

We stayed one night on our way through Nashville. I chose this campground because it is very centrally located and I thought it would allow us to see some of Nashville for the very short time we were there. It is easy to get to many of Nashville's most famous spots and it was pretty easy to find from the highway.

This is a very packed in KOA. It has lots of amenities like a life-sized chess set. I can see how families would enjoy all of the extra things to keep children occupied. Navigating the park in a large rig is a challenge. You need to really pay attention to the roads they recommend using in and out of the park. We were very close to our neighbor and had no privacy.

The staff was all people under 18 and although polite, I can't say they were very nice. If you want to ask for any RV specific information, they were unable to answer. I found that a bit disappointing.

PROS:
Central location in Nashville
Full hookups

CONS:
Expensive
Very packed in
Hard to navigate in a big rig
Not a very helpful or well informed staff
Highway noise

First caveat is that we stayed here in early Feb and it was cooooold. Like snowing and in the 20's. While the location looks good on a map, it takes about 20 minutes to get anywhere. Our first choice was the Seven Points COE CG which lops farther but is actually about the same drive from everything, but it was closed for the season.

Anyway, pretty standard KOA. Even on the big side with on side mostly "premium pull throughs" with cement pads and patio furniture and the other gravel back ins. The central building was nice with laundry and a pool table and they were building what will probably be a sweet pool by next summer.

If you can't get into the Seven Points CG, it'll get the job done.

There was a massive construction project going on: new swimming pool, repaving the roads, so there was a lot of noise, confusion and the staff was clearly overwhelmed. The campground is huge, and when we were here was about half full. We were assigned next to the outer fence of the park and didn't get the wifi signal. It was fairly quiet.

The bathrooms were clean and spacious. The showers offered hot water.

We were here to explore Nashville. The KOA offers a drop-off/pick-up shuttle service to downtown Nashville for $5/person one way. We found this to be a very helpful service and used this shuttle for the three days that we were here.

NOTE: The $36.38 was for electricity service and included our KOA discount.

I pulled into Nashville at 1pm, with only one night on my schedule to visit EVERYTHING. My default when I'm in a time crunch is always KOA, knowing there will be a shower, lame wifi, and an office with someone behind a desk who can tell me, fast, how to see what I came to see in the area. If you've got limited time to enjoy Nashville, this is an option if you aren't planning to hang around enjoying the scenery at the campground.

The KOA is part of small cluster of camping opportunities a long way from downtown where the action is; about 15-ish miles away (though the KOA is located very near the new site of the Grand Ole Opry House). The concierge at her tourist desk in the lobby will hook you up with tour packages and/or "Jerry's" downtown shuttle service that picks you up from the KOA and drops you off behind famous Ryman Auditorium (only $10, round trip). From there, walk to the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Johnny Cash museum, the Goo Goo shop, and all the honkytonks playing live music in The District. Stagger back to the Ryman to catch the shuttle home to your campsite.

I ditched the dog in the Airstream and didn't come back to the KOA until 1am (the shuttle runs until 2:30am on Saturday). I didn't even unhitch, and left the next morning by 7am. Sorry no photos! It was a nice KOA.

We stayed here for the Amazon work camping assignment.

Very large with nice cabins, full hook ups, very nice deluxe sites, & tent sites. There has been a lot of improvements in 2017 with a very nice pool, rec room, with decent bathrooms. The reason to stay here in my opinion is to visit the Grand Ole Opry or visit downtown. Shuttles from the KOA are convenient but don't expect to walk any where from this location.

Overall it is a typical KOA with very nice amenities.

Verizon - Was good except when there was an event at the Grand Ole Opry. 10 MBps Up & Down

AT&T & T-Mobile - Were ok 5 MBps Up & Down

We stayed in April 2017. Clean, safe place to park your RV while you are experiencing Nashville. Easy check-in, easy to find, close to Grand Ole Opry (but not close enough to walk). It's located right next to 3 or 4 other RV parks. Usual KOA amenities I have come to expect at their prices. Didn't use the WiFi or pool. Clean showers and laundry and quiet at night. Nice crowd.

Lots of restaurants nearby and at the Opry Mills Mall.

We don't have a toad so we rented a car for the 3 days we were there- you definitely need transportation in Nashville. Saw shows at Grand Ole Opry & Ryman, took the General Jackson Showboat dinner cruise, went to Andrew Jackson's Hermitage, Johnny Cash museum, and even squeezed in a trip to Antique Archaeology. We would recommend any or all of those.

Looking forward to returning to Nashville. No reason not to stay at this KOA again but I would probably book any of the RV parks nearby.

We splurged and reserved the deluxe patio pull-through. I think that is why my rating is a bit higher than others who have stayed here. The site was level, wide, long, and concrete. It was within close reach to the office, lounge, and laundry. The fire pit was awesome and bring your own firewood since it is very expensive here. This location is down the street from the Grand Ole Opry and about 15-20 minutes to downtown. We also went to a Nashville Predator game and highly recommend it if you get the chance to go and that is your thing.

Very well maintained clean and friendly. Great location easy in and out. We really enjoyed our week stay here. Lots to see and do in the city of Nashville and got to see three Predators games at the Bridgestone Arena. Can’t wait to go back.
