Welcome to Big Woods Brewing Company, the Midwest’s most unique and quaffworthy microbrewery. Founded by Tim O’Bryan, Ed Ryan and Jeff McCabe, Big Woods Brewing Company is dedicated to creating great beers in styles and flavors that appeal not only to craft beer aficionados, but to the average beer drinker too. While it is true that our mantra, ‘The Woods Abide’, pays homage to one of the great bowling epics of all time, it also speaks to the culture we have created at Big Woods, where everyone is welcome and Common Goodness prevails. Our Timberframe Brew House features our award winning restaurant and our hand crafted bar, with at least 6 of our beer styles on tap and weekly food specials ranging from Little Ricky’s Almost Famous Ribs to Chef Emily’s Yumbalaya Jumbalaya. When you walk in the door, our brew crew will make you feel welcome!!! Big Woods Village is just across the street where you’ll find our full service home brew store, our brewhouse #2 (the 4bbl system), our smokehouse (where all our award winning pulled pork comes from) and Big Woods Pizza, home of the KIMOSABE pizza. Brewery tours are available on an occasional basis. Big Woods Brewing Company is a non smoking establishment open only to folks who are at least 21 years of age. Big Woods Pizza Company is right next door in Big Woods Village and gladly welcomes children of all ages…and serves our fine craft beer!!!!
