“Serving authentic Austrian-German & European cuisine for over 15 years”
The story of Cafe Old Vienna began in 1997 when Werner Horvath’s Aunt & Uncle opened their doors to the public in Myrtle Beach. This cozy little cafe with its elegant decor, largely done in burgundy red, and 100 year old light grain wood, truly takes you back to old world Vienna. The business opened in 1997 and over the next few years a strong local’s oriented customer base began being established. Serving only breakfast and lunch, the quaint little cafe catered mostly to locals and maintains its regular customer base to this day. In 2001 Werner and his wife Martina took full control over the restaurant. Werner was raised in the family business, a hotel called Foerenhof located in a small town near Hartberg, Austria. Now years later Cafe Old Vienna has been serving authentic Austrian-German & European cuisine for many years. A wonderful dinner menu was added in 2002 to replace the previous breakfast menu. Cafe Old Vienna is truly a wonderful and authentic experience. We look forward to seeing you soon!
