Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on July 29, 2021This is a small campground, only 6 sites, but two of them are really attached for one big group, including a very large fire ring - which is a nice option! Rock Creek runs right through the sites and there are a couple toilets in two places for convenience from all sites. I was van camping and needed to level a bit, but it was a nice site. Since this is bear country there are some bear safe vaults in a couple places. The toilet was clean, and the site is lovely. Only 11 minutes from Red Lodge, specifically the Rock Creek Laundromat, which is by far the nicest laundromat I’ve ever seen!

The sites are very small, as are the parking areas, I barely got my pickup truck off the road, and the site that i was in, was not large enough for 1 of my tents. The 2 RVs that were here, were parked in the roadway. Picnic tables, vault toilets, bear boxes, beautiful area, stream adjacent, secluded campground. I slept in my truck, and moved a few miles west, to Limber Pine Campground dispersed for RVs and tents.

I looked at this place around 7/10/2021 and it was open. Basically a good place for tent campers or small RVs. There is only one site where a 26-28 ft RV could be, and next to it is another spot (but not a dedicated site) where also an RV of about the same size could be. Some other sites would be OK for smaller RVs. I did not stay here because there were too many mosquitos and horse flies for my taste. However, it is worth checking out when you are in the area and are looking for a free campsite with a vault toilet on it.

We parked our 24 foot here for the night. Drive in was bumpy but doable. Level spot next to the pit toilet. We backed in and enjoyed the night. Many friendly people met. Hiking trail in camp. Along a river/creek. Enjoyed this dry camp site.
