“St. Marys Lodge is one of the pickup location for the East side tour in Vintage 1930s buses”
The famous Red Buses serve as an ideal way to see and learn more about Glacier National Park. In fact, the vintage 1930’s buses are part of the human history and heritage of the park. As much of the park’s scenery is vertically oriented, the roll-back tops are perfect for providing full views of the stunning mountains, and the area’s signature Big Sky. The guides are seasoned park veterans, who are here because they love the park and enjoy sharing the park with visitors. The below tours originate from various pickup locations on the east side of Glacier National Park. Be sure to bring your Park Pass or park entrance receipt on the tour. There are 4 tour options, Big Sky Circle Tour, Eastern Alpine Tour, East Side Many Glacier Crown of the Continent, Old North Trail Tour. Call for reservation and other pick up locations
We loved it, would recommend you take this tour. So worth it. The guide was awesome. We learned so much and didn't have to drive so we could enjoy the scenery.
Guide was amazing, tour of just the eastern side was excellent. I was worried the full day tour would be too long, but the easter side does not include many of the most photographed sections of the Going to the Sun Road. Everything included was wonderful, but next time I would schedule the full day/full road tour.
