Archway RV Park

Nice overnight stop on our road trip. Meticulously clean, has a dog park. Quiet. Not too far from the interstate. Nice, hospitable owners. Night slips available for evening arrivals. No fuss at all to get in at night. They list the open spots on the chalkboard at the office.

stayed 1 night, January 13th, 2022 on our way to Texas! Great service by phone, arrived late, had no issues finding the campground! Had a Hot shower! Will we stop again?!!! YES! Thank You!

Our arrival was the BEST ever! We were in constant communication with the Office Manager, Tiffany. She knew what time we were arriving and it was pouring down rain. She saw us coming in on the road and ran out to meet us so we didn't have to get out and get wet ourselves! Wow, what a reception. So she pointed out what site we had, which was so easy to enter on this rainy day.
The only tip to make it better is for the Office Manager and the Owner to have a little better communication. We had a relative make our appointment in person since there was an issue initially in calling them for the reservation. Their telephone numbers had changed. Our relative was given one price and she gave us another price. It was only off a few dollars but it's not a good business practice. We planned to stay 10 days, but they only had us down for 7 so we had a scare that we would have to move.....but since we paid for the full 10 days, it was hard to make us move. The great reception made up for any of these issues.....
The best thing about the location was the GREAT wifi!!! Now granted, it is relatively small, but no matter, the Owner said he knew today's travelers need strong wifi more than lots of TV stations.
Other than a few misunderstandings, there really isn't anything negative to report. We did not use any facilities but could see the office area was kept immaculate and the sites were well maintained.

We stopped at Archway RV Park on our way home from an extended trip. We found the check in process quick and stress-free. We had a pull through site with sewer, water, electric that was large enough for us to not unhook our tow dolly and car. Very good wifi was also provided. The park is quiet at night and located close to several delivery restaurants. We had food delivered, and a good night's sleep before getting back on the road.

Sites are very close together, this is the not the type of place you camp in to enjoy privacy and natural surroundings. This is a great one night stopping point for weary travelers. If you need a quiet safe place to park for the night, Archway RV Park will meet your needs.

I was impressed from the get-go by Tiffany in the office. Cheerful and welcoming on the phone, she was even more so in person. Helped me get propane immediately so I could pay for it and my site in the same transaction. She’s friendly, funny and kind, and really on the ball. If I owned a business with employees, I’d hire her to train them for customer service!

As stated in other reviews, the sites aren’t intended for long term beauty stays but for a nice overnight on your way. However, I wouldn’t have hesitated to stay here one more night if I weren’t trying to stay out in front of a winter storm. It’s a pretty park, the amenities are fantastic, it’s quiet even though close to the road, and I felt safe.

The welcome center really is that, with lots of wood giving you the feeling of being in a ski lodge. Warm, comfortable and containing the office; a lounge; laundry room with $1.50 wash and $1.00 dry on six clean, modern, well-maintained machines; a large meeting room with lots of tables and seating, where morning coffee is served; and two very large unisex bathroom suites, each with two toilets, sinks and showers. The latter are new and very nicely appointed, with all the hot water you could want. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope to!

Just stayed overnight but would definitely come back for a longer stay. Park owner is friendly and helpful. Sites are level and spacious. Only drawback I can think of is the sewers are at the back of the sites and we had to do some adjusting to get our satellite TV and sewer hooked up. Owner was helpful in finding us a site where we could get our TV thru the trees, helped us setup, and even mailed some cards for me when we left. Quiet park even though it's located near great shopping and a couple of truck stops.

We stayed here for a quick overnight on our way through Illinois. We called last minute and they had room and explained the late arrival procedures. The ground were very tidy and the sites were level. We stayed when temps were very cold and they advised disconnecting water if you didn’t have heat tape. Their water access was all insulated and easy to hook up to. They even had extra dog-bone adapters if you needed to convert 30 to 50 amp. Very considerate!

More than accommodating. So helpful and very clean park. Would definitely stay here again!
