“So comfortable you won't want to leave”
Inglenook Farm was originally built as a summer home by a prominent Mt. Vernon lawyer, Norman A. Piercy. The Piercy's shared their lovely Victorian home with family, friends and professionals across the state of Illinois by hosting a large gathering each fall. Everyone enjoyed an abundance of home cooked goodies, wandering through fields of wild flowers or just watching the flocks of birds and assortment of wild animals. Benches and massive tables spread around the front lawn made visiting a pleasant memory. Most recently the Piercy family, Norman A's grandson, opened the home as a bed and breakfast offering guests the opportunity to step back in time enjoying many of the same sight and pleasures as did grandfather Piercy's guests.
