“experience the beauty of habitat & wildlife”
Morro Bay National Estuary Nature Center is a place to experience the beauty of the estuary and learn about protecting its sensitive habitats and wildlife. One of the most important things to learn here is that the Estuary Program needs your help to protect the estuary. Help by reducing water pollution, volunteering your time and sharing knowledge with others. The Morro Bay Estuary is a unique and special place. This 2,300 acre expanse of sheltered waters, tidal marshes, mudflats and seagrass beds is still rich with natural resources at a time when many coastal wetlands have been lost or severely damaged.
