This rustic campground is in a remote part of Grand Teton National Park. The campground is 11 miles south of Yellowstone and eight miles north of Colter Bay Village providing easy access to both parks. The campsites are in a spruce and fir forest on the shores of Jackson Lake. One mile across the lake is the northern portion of the Teton Range including Webb Canyon, Owl and Ranger peaks. Looking south, the expanse of the Teton Range towers over Jackson Lake.

We were here 6/14/19. We arrived a little late and all the spots right on the Creek were taken. We got a good spot, however with a small view of the water. We usually prefer National Forest to National Park because of cost, crowds, etc. This campground is more like forest camping with space between the sites - however it is priced like a NP. We were only $15 b/c of the discount. Hard to beat the drive through the Tetons. Well worth it.

Yet another $15 host run dispersed campground. The road in is narrow and the sites are small slots. It's not to close to some of the more popular hikes. Half of the CG is no generator. It was ok for a night or two stay.

No big frills but easy going campground. No dump/fill stations. Tight parking for anything over 20’ (30’ max). Cell service exists for Verizon/AT&T but doesn’t load data most times. Head down to the lake for good service. Location is great for daytripping Yellowstone.

Road to dispursed camping closed. Paid camp ground was full. Had to pay for lodge. Security regularly monitors parking lots, no camping.
