“a landmark for travelers looking for a hot meal for over67 years”
For 67 years, Dornan's Chuckwagon has been a landmark for travelers looking for a hot meal on their way to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Jackson Hole old timers may remember the "Eat Here" barn, or the "Get down stranger and grab a plate" sign; but modern travelers are used to turning toward the giant white teepee, and following their noses toward the aromatic campfire smoke and the delicious scent of simmering cowboy stew. Every summer, we serve good old-fashioned cowboy food, from all-you-can-eat sourdough pancakes at breakfast to hearty sandwiches at lunch, and our traditional, all-you-can-eat Chuckwagon dinner, served over a wood fire in dutch ovens. All our meat is hand-cut, natural-aged beef, aged and carved in our own butcher shop. Chuckwagon diners eat outside, with our breathtaking views of the Grand Teton mountains, the Snake River, and Menor's Ferry historic district; in the open air, in the shelter of the teepee, or in our airy pavilion. Hope to see you here. The Moose Chuckwagon THEN; from June through September Every Monday Night at 6pm the Hootenany will happen at the Pavillion area. The public is invited. A wonderful evening of great accoustic entertainment.
