The sunset at the Dead Horse Point is truly awesome. Highly recommend it. It's worth the $20 price of admission alone.

I get trying to stay in Island in the Sky or Arches, but there is no better escape than landing a spot at Dead Horse...always feels so remote and quiet.

I have a state parks pass and the trip down to see these beautiful places is perfect. Less crowded than the national parks nearby, and just as wonderful to see! The reason behind the name is really sad though.
