“known for its delicious burgers”
Milt’s was first opened in September of 1954, by Milt Galbraith. Not a lot has changed since. The vinyl-topped stools and the patterned Formica counter which overlooks the open grill and kitchen are all original. Despite its age, the restaurant remains neat and inviting, illuminated by large windows on three sides of the small building. Milt’s is known for its delicious burgers, homemade fries, and refreshing shakes and malts.
Visited this restaurant with my brother. We wanted to eat outside but the place was too crowded so we just settled for a table inside. We ordered the chili burger and their onion rings. The burger was delicious and juicy. The patty was not too thin nor too thick; just cooked the right way. The buns were quite big though, it kind of overpowers the beef. But aside from that, the whole thing was good. The onion rings were crisp and full of flavor, too. We also had their peach milkshake which was really smooth and creamy. Definitely an instant favorite.
I cannot recommend this place enough. The food is great, the atmosphere is laid back, and the staff is super friendly. I have to eat here every time I'm in town (Moab actually brought me to Utah) or even just passing through. I usually get a Blue Moon Burger with bacon, but I've branched out a bit and never been let down. It is a must when in Moab.
We come through Moab every year and allways try to eat at Milts. They have great food and milkshakes and it takes you back to a simpler time when real people owned restaurants instead of corporations. The maple tree that you eat under has probably been there since 1954. We will be featuring Milts on our YouTube channel soon The Doors To Social Discovery https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvq6aXkVjvxiruZDrveOPtQ
