I guess I’m very picky compared to other reviewers. When a tree dies, I think it should be removed. When it intrudes on the site I think it should be trimmed. The campsite is all very loose sand. How about some gravel? Also not level at all. Very close to neighbors. Dump hidden under a Bush.
Great KOA.. The wifi slows if you use it too much but other than that this is a great spot for adventuing MOAB!
A very good park. Room for improvement would be to replace some of the picnic tables and make sure the spots are level. I had to add leveling blocks to not have the wheels in the air. The pool is nice. The hot tub was shut down due to the pandemic. I would stay here again.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from a KOA but I loved how they take you to the site so you know where you are at. I was a bit disappointed being so close to our neighbors during COVID. I wasn’t expecting it to be so busy with so many kids. I didn’t feel like there was a lot of social distancing. We had trouble leveling the RV. It was nice to have a designated dog path except kids were riding their dirt bikes on it and we kept having to move out of the way. Got woken up early in the am from the kids next to us. Sprint and T-Mobile work well there. I loved being on an end lot, however the huge tree caused us not to be able to put the awning out. Picnic tables could be replaced they were a bit run down.
Great campground but the showers could use updating. The pool was beautiful with firepits and amazing views. Its is a couple miles past Moab.
This was the best KOA we stayed at all week, hands down! The place was clean and we'll kept. It was HUGE, but not over crowded. It was well staffed as well, and I saw several koa peeps working on upkeep in the short time I was there. All 4 times I went into the office I was engaged in conversation by the employees. Asking how I was enjoying my stay and if there was anything else I could use (and waiting for an honest answer)... Chatting about my trip, etc. The place was great, but the employees made it fantastic!! Thanks for a great stay!!!
This was a standard KOA campground with good facilities (e.g., excellent bathrooms and showers) but shoulder to shoulder sites. We were right on top of our neighbors. They mixed the smaller campers like us in with the larger RVs, which isn't how I prefer it. I like to be separate from the larger rigs. I agree with another reviewer that the campground was too far from downtown. I would choose a different campground if I ever went back to Moab. There are several campgrounds closer to town.
A little too far out of downtown but still a really nice campground. They have mini golf
Nice KOA. The pool is bit small and mini golf is bare bones but the location is quiet and a bit out of town. Nice views of the surrounding cliffs.
