Wow! What an introduction to St Louis BBQ. When we planned this trip, this was one of the places we decided to eat at. We were not disappointed at all. We tried a little of everything; smothered fries, cornbread, pork and tri tip combo, ribs, mashed potatoes, beans, the boss, and the butter cake. We took a lot home with us and everything was amazing. Meat was tender and flavorful without the sauce. Mash was gone in a flash, nothing was dry or disappointing. Highlights were the ribs! Surprise were the smothered fries. Tri tip was melting deliciousness Service was great as well. Not once did we ever have to ask for refills, or anything really. We were continually asked if we ever needed anything (haha only to go boxes ) Only cons I could see is limited seating and what seating they have is cozy. It is not handicap friendly inside but there is outdoor seating that could be. Parking is almost non existent. And there is no handicap parking near by that I saw. Service animals would be a significant problem as well as there is only room for servers to walk about. I am glad we left ours at home. Art was great and the music was a nice flare to add to the flavors of food. I will be recommending this place to anyone coming into the St Louis area! Read more
