“Memorial to casualties of 20th Century wars”

Established in 1944 by the city and the Missoula Rose Society Memorial Rose Garden contains more than 2,500 rose bushes. The roses are maintained as a memorial to the casualties and veterans of America's conflicts in the 20th century, World War II, Vietnam, Grenada, the Persian Gulf, Panama and Korea. This small city park that borders a Blue Star Memorial Highway on Brooks Street also features a 12-foot bronze statue honoring veterans.
