“A dream in Missoula”
In 1995, after four years and more than 100,000 hours of volunteer work, A Carousel for Missoula took its first spin in the community that came together to build a dream. Built to provide the community of Missoula a new option for good, old-fashioned fun, the Carousel continues to entertain the children (and the adults) in our area with rides on the beautifully crafted horses as well as family friendly events. Whether we’re helping children celebrate their special day or seeing families come together for a little playtime, we’re happy to be part of Missoula’s history.
Days open are incorrect. Open almost every day. Only closed for about 20 days in January for deep cleaning/new paint. (Even open every holiday).
SUCH FUN!!! One of the fastest carousels in the world. Truly! Only $1.50 for two of us to ride! Each horse has a beautiful name and story. It was a blast!! Not to mention the immense playground beside the carousel. It was snow covered but my two year old and I still had a blast on the slides.
I will make it a point to ride this anytime we are in Missoula.
