Zen Box Izakaya

Their shared dream of opening a restaurant that fulfilled the need for "authentic" Japanese food rather than the "fusion" Japanese food that most American Eaters were experiencing was fulfilled when they created Zen Box.  They focused on the branding the concept based upon the harmonizing of ingredients, portions, and food groups found within a Bento Box. With their expansion and opening of an Izakaya as their latest location they can now realize a dream to share with their audience - the many complexities and nuances of Japanese cuisine, beyond the simple styles and techniques found in Sushi, Hibachi, Robata, and Teppanyaki.  Authentic Japanese cuisine shares a rich and robust make-up and composition found in many classic cuisines such as French or Italian cooking and Zen Box wants to invite their guests to discover the many delights of Japanese flavors and cooking beyond mere California Rolls or Teriyaki Beef.
