“Fresh baked goods and fair trade coffee”
The cafe at the heart of the Powderhorn neighborhood the May Day Cafe is where your friends are. The deli serves delicious treats such as quiches, scones, muffins, soups, and sandwiches. The menu changes daily and many items are vegan. May Day café is also on the route of the annual May Day Parade that goes down Bloomington Avenue. Local artists display their work on the otherwise bare white walls and on the day we visited, there were beautiful pictures of previous parades on the walls.
