“Brewery and Restaurant in Mineral Point!”
When we started this project here in Mineral Point we decided to pursue three businesses. The lodging business includes five rooms at the Inn, and two Cottageson Mineral Point's historic Shake Rag Street. The Brewery Creek Inn is legally a hotel, but who ever heard of a five room hotel? Since we serve a breakfast and belong to several associations with bed and breakfast in the name we decided to call ourselves a "Bed and Breakfast Inn". If you have experience with the traditional B&B created in the innkeeper's home be aware that we are different. You won't be sitting around our living room watching TV with us or having breakfast in our kitchen. No trundling down the hall in your jammies to take a shower either! Check out the pictures and descriptions. If you have any questions drop us an email. The Cottages are what Europeans call "Self Catering", a fancy phrase for "you do the cooking". We provide a "starter basket" for breakfast but nothing complicated. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, a batch of cookies or a turkey with all the trimmings.... all you have to do is stop at the grocery store and get what you want to cook, then do the cooking. Guests who stay for extended periods, or have special dietary needs like this a lot. Note: Springside Cottage Side 2 does not have an oven. Then there is the Brewpub Restaurant in the same building as the Inn. Ask anybody in town where to go for food and chances are you will be directed to "The Brewpub" first. The Restaurant is not open 365 days a year. Please check the Hours of Operation before making the restaurant your destination Last but certainly not least is the Brewery Creek Brewing Company, Mineral Point's craft brewery behind the glass doors of the restaurant. The beers we brew are only available in our brewpub and in "growlers" to go. This part of our web site has more about us. Since you're not in the building with us right now, we hope this gives you a better feel for Brewery Creek and Mineral Point. Maybe you'll even decide to come and stay with us or stop into the Brewpub!
