There is a RV park with full hookups down the road but not by hot springs and more suited for the 5th wheelers and large campers $20 a day. The road in is small, tight and steep can do it with a class B or something smaller tier drop,16' trailer. Park is close by with miles of hiking or more hot springs to find Light Feather is short hike and worth it. Getting here be ready bring everything you will need also drive here is pretty with about a 100 turns in the road 30 miles will take you about an hour and half. Pet friendly ! One more thing make sure to go to the Gila Cliff Dwellings. Camping is $6 per person this includes hot spring use or $5 per person to use Hot Springs only.

I heard about this place while camping in Cherry Creek Campground about 20 miles south towards Central City. I love Hot Springs so I got on my phone and made reservations. You do need a reservation because it's starting to get crowded there. Even so there were many times I was the only person in one of the three pools. I watch the full moon rise over the bluff to the east. My dog was able to run around freely as long as she got along with other dogs. She explored the river and had a wonderful time. I liked it so much I'm going back in 3 weeks for my birthday and staying for 6 nights.

Showed up in a 28' class C thinking there would be no way for us to stay. But it wasn't a problem at all. The owner was there and she didn't even hesitate. Sites 1-4 are plenty big, sandy and right on the river.
There are three beautiful hot springs tubs to soak in. Very clean. The owners came several times a day to check on the temperature and cleanliness. They also have great book suggestions. We were there mid week and always had a tub to ourselves.
There are no services here but the general store had WiFi, gas, propane and snacks (closed Wednesdays). $10 per person per night.
4 miles up the road is the cliff dwellings which were amazing.
We only left because of the snow. Make this a must visit on your trip!!

Super cute little campground with use of hot springs 24/7 during your stay. Open to public 9-6 then the place is yours. Dry camping with no amenities but so tranquil and relaxing. Our site was right on the Gila river so we enjoyed the sound of the stream. There is Wi-Fi near the check in but no Verizon cell. Host are wonderful and clean the tubs regularly. The road up is steep and winding. Take a different way out and stop at lake Robert’s then land super close to City of Rocks which is a must.

This is our second year in a row staying at Gila Hot Spring Campground. It is so beautiful and peaceful there, nestled in the trees, next to the Gila River. There 3 hot spring pools, that are accessible day and night to the campers that stay there, and the owner and camp hosts are super nice...We highly recommend Gila Hot Springs Campground...We love staying there!

Was looking for some solitude and relaxation and this place fit the bill to a tee. Wonderful setting in the trees with the Gila River gurgling for some background noise. The only negative is the ride to get here. Highway 15 -- while a beautiful ride -- gets to be tiresome after 40 miles of sharply winding, up-and-down roads. I took Highway 35 heading out and it is also very winding (though not as bad as 15) but much flatter. Allow yourself plenty of time to make the ride there and back. There is no Verizon service here, though I had a signal most of the way there.
Site 12 offered ample sunlight if you need to power up with solar. Lots of tent campers here, though there were some decent sized Class Cs and travel trailers while I was here. A truck camper or van is ideal here.
I took full advantage of the unlimited soaking available to campers. I soaked during the afternoon the first day there and thought the water wasn't as hot as I would have liked. However at night, it was plenty hot to truly enjoy a nice soak under an amazing amount of stars. I found that after about 9PM the pools were virtually empty and I had a pool to myself each night.
Gila Cliff Dwellings are only a 5 mile drive from here and well worth the trip. I had the opportunity to meet Carla -- one of the owners -- who was very friendly.
