Harris Park is owned and operated by Umatilla County. It is located on the South Fork of the Walla Walla River, approximately 14 miles Southeast of Milton-Freewater, Oregon. Harris Park is used for overnight camping, day picnicking and also hiking/nature enthusiasts alike. Managers live year round on site at the West end of the property. During the busy season, volunteer camp hosts are also on site. While you are here enjoying your stay, you will find that wildlife abounds. Nature surrounds you with its' brilliance in every direction. Relaxation comes easy with soothing sounds that the native birds are singing throughout the day. Exhilaration from catching a brook Trout in the Walla Walla River. Brisk and fresh mountain air during a morning hike. Enjoying tranquility the way it was meant to be enjoyed.
