I had to mail a check to reserve.Great AT&T service. Big park so room to walk and talk. Great market across the highway.

Right in the heart of amish country. Beautiful rolling hills all around.
Some spots are in the direct sun with gravel all around. Some spots have nice trees and grass around.
Camp fire wood is provided. It is scrap wood from nearby factories apparently.
The WiFi had strong signals but real poor throughput. (1.5 DL x 1 UL). The wifi was intermittent at best.
Decent dump station. Grounds well kept.
Certain staff members could have a better demeanor, and smile once in a while. It wouldn't hurt!
No credit cards accepted no receipt either ;-O. We have stayed here once both this year and last.

My wife and I love visiting the Amish country and this campground is the best place to stay while we enjoy everything that Holmes County has to offer. Moderately sized RV sites with both back-in and pull thru. Grass at every site with gravel pads. Definitely on our list of top sites.

When making a reservation, you have various different methods and cancellation policies to be aware of at most parks. This park only accepts cash/check, but paying for your stay is something they ask you to do before you leave. Berlin is a great community that has some very trusting and nice people, and this park is located perfectly to visit the Amish/Mennonite communities. The park is well laid out, all sites are easy to get into regardless of your size. WiFi is good enough to stream when the park is close to capacity. It’s the little things like trust, common sense expectations so there isn’t a long list of rules, and free firewood that really make this park stand out.

We went End of April 2023 and had a relaxing weekend. Full service for self contained only as there are no bath houses. Office staff is very friendly. Free firewood is a great perk!

Scenic Hills RV Park is located in the heart of Amish Country in Walnut Creek. They are a cash or check only RV park, but we were able to make reservations over the phone and mail in a check in advance.
We came in after hours, but our name was on a board with our site number, so we headed to our site and parked and checked-in the next morning. We had full hookups on our site.
At check-out time, we saw several Amish workers taking care of the sites, leveling out the gravel, cleaning up any embers in the fire rings, sweeping the front porch, and pulling weeds.
This campground is also one of the few places we have found that allowed us to wash our RV in our site (for a $10 fee).
We had clear skies at our site and were able to get a good Starlink signal, although it wasn’t very fast at 7 down and 4 up. Verizon also gave us 2 bars on the phone.
