Bashamichi is named after the first road in Japan where horse drawn carriages transported American, other foreign diplomats, and merchants through the port city of Yokohama in the 1860s. Our bistro finds its home on historic El Camino Real, also once a wagon trail, which connected California missions from the mid 1600s-1800s. We hope that you enjoy a savory culinary experience here at Bashamichi, a crossroad where prime steak, fresh fish, and Japanese favorite dishes come together.
