“nestled among ponderosa pines”
This campground is the closest KOA to Yosemite Valley, and it is perfect to use as your base camp while visiting Yosemite National Park. Ride the YARTS public transit bus from the campground for an easy and convenient way to visit Yosemite. After returning from this jewel of a national park, take advantage of the campground's fresh hot pizza, even enjoying it poolside. Or take a dip in the sparkling clean pool. If you prefer sweets, the homemade fudge and ice cream parlor awaits. Before moving on to your next vacation destination, stop by the campground gift store to purchase some Yosemite memories to take with you. Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 50 feet. Your hosts: the Bailey family.
ABUSIVE AND RUDE STAFF. DO NOT STAY HERE. Over priced. It's insane KOA let them use the name, literally the WORST campsite in America and it's run by the biggest and meanest people in the world. I've never encountered such low IQ and lack of customer service in my entire life. Bridget? Is a snotty, horrible person. The staff lies through their teeth, and the campgrounds are disgusting. When we arrived there was used tissues on the camp and the woman at the front desk had the nerve to ask US where it came from. Lady we just pulled up, we didn't pee and wipe in 10 seconds on your campsite.
We had to leave early, and understood we would lose the days stay but when we mentioned the reason we had to leave the owner LAUGHED at us. I was literally in tears when we left and Bridget yelled out something derogatory to us, when we asked what did she say, a big over weight man put his hands on us and told us to leave.
I will be persuing a formal complaint with KOA, I've NEVER been treated so horribly as I did by the staff here. I felt unsafe, and threatened.
It looked ok. Wanted to stay came at 2pm, check n in time they said was 1 pm I didn't have reservations and they don't keep any open for drive up. Is Sunday and only 5th of June. Whatever KOA why have a card. Don't know where and when just trying to see our USA.
Beautifully situated campground that's extremely well maintained. No road noise, but RV pads are pretty closely spaced ,with minimal vegetation to create separation. Right on the doorstep of Yosemites el portal entry
Great place in between the beautiful pine trees. Clean facilities, top of the laundry room and great pool. A little more expensive than average but worth it!
Such a beautiful scenery within nature, trees surrounding you and birds singing all around.
Magnificent stop by, the Mariposa KOA. Nothing fascinating or luxurious except from the views and the surroundings.
If you have kids they will love the playground while you will be sat next to the pool relaxing and drinking a glass of wine!
Exceptional memories..we will be back there next summer for sure!
