Dans Rock Scenic Overlook

Breathtaking and well worth the minutes lost on your road trip. Visited in the dead of winter and it was gorgeous. A little hard to find; just hit old dans rock road and follow it all the way up. The lookout is on your right at the top by some cell towers. The graffiti is top notch (ive studied graffiti in college so I know) and the view is amazing (also studied views in college so again, I know). You should go, it's boo tee full.

Really nice view. The drive there is a bit meandering, but not unpleasant. The walk from the parking area to the views is VERY uneven. Best to wear sneakers and be very careful. That said, my 77 year old mother was able (with help) to get up there and back in flip flops. Unfortunately, the entire lookout area has been vandalized with graffiti everywhere. That really took away from the natural beauty of the landscape and the scenery, but the views are truly breathtaking and worth the 15 minutes out of the way up the mountain to see it.

Very beautiful. Practically a full 360 degree view of the surrounding area. The graffiti on the rocks adds an artistic element I enjoyed. It was however pretty cold and super windy when I visited so wear layers. Totally worth the 10min detour off the highway.

Place is very neat! I was a little scared about so many people climbing up on the rocks but if you stick to the path it's awesome. It was a great view, best one around

Well worth the 10 minute diversion up the mountain. Stunning views.
