Shade Mountain Winery

We welcome you to visit us here at our winery and vineyards outside of Middleburg, Pennsylvania. While sitting outside on our expansive decks, you'll marvel at the spectacular views of the vineyards and fields nestled in the foothills of Shade Mountain.   Most importantly, we cordially invite you to sample our wonderful variety of over 30 different wines!  Our 19th-century barn houses wine-making and hosts free daily tastings of our full line of wines. You do not need an appointment, just drop in during our regular business hours, as we are open 7 days a week year-round. Think of our area as a great escape for a relaxing weekend. In addition to Shade Mountain Vineyards & Winery, local attractions include Penns Creek Pottery, housed in a turn-of-the-century mill, and Raymond B. Winter State Park, complete with hiking trails, lake and wildlife center. After your busy day, spend a night or two in luxury at The Vicksburg Inn, Inn at New Berlin or The Copper Beach Manor in downtown Lewisburg.  We are also day-trip-worthy as we are a nice drive from Harrisburg and State College.  Pack a lunch to enjoy with your favorite Shade Mountain selection, while overlooking our vineyard on our beautiful deck!
