“Premier institution serving children”
Miami Children’s Museum was established in 1983 as the Miami Youth Museum. Our first home was a 2,000 square foot facility located in a shopping center in West Kendall. Our vision is to be recognized as a premier institution serving children and their families and the culturally diverse community we live in through the arts, literacy, and early childhood education. It's been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, then, nothing tells the story of Miami Children's Museum and its mission better than this video. Produced by the talented folks at SocialMiami.com, it shows how the Museum is enriching the lives of children in our community.
Get ready to have some fun with the kids at this educational and hands-on children’s museum! Your kids will love exploring the Construction Zone, the Multi-Sensory Room, and the Castle of Dreams! And if you’d like to see this museum for free, stop by the third Friday of every month from 3pm-9pm.
