Schloegels Bay View Restaurant

Our doors were opened in Downtown Marinette, WI in 1968. In 1979 through the vision of Tom and Pat Schloegel, Schloegels Bay View Restaurant was built on the shores of Green Bay setting a new standard for Menominee's waterfront. In 2009 we added our outdoor patio seating for those who just can’t bring themselves inside on a sunny U.P summer day. Your're invited to enjoy our homey comfort food along with the spectacular views of wildlife, boating activities and a sunrise. At Schloegel's we take hospitality seriously. Our staff is well trained and coached daily to provide a warm and inviting experience not just a transaction (It’s part of our mojo!). During the summer of 2010 we celebrated 42 years of business and gained the knowledge of a third generation of Schloegel Family staff in our bus boy department. Our restaurant was designed with the entire family in mind. The menus reflect quality made from scratch comfort foods with family friendly values and prices. We offer a variety of children's items that have been tested by some of the most scrutinizing Little Dickens around. During summer months we purchase fresh local produce as well as fresh fish and try to focus on the predominance of natural flavors something unique in today's eating establishments. The heart of our bakery comes from talented bakers who are very proud of our long tradition of excellence many of whom have been here for over 10-20 years. Freshly baked breads, rolls, cookies, coffee cakes, tea rings, Danish kringles & pies tempt your sences in our display cases and have become a tradition to many. We are always encouraging guest to bring a “smile” to a friend or neighbor with a loaf of our fresh cinnamon raisin bread or giant sticky buns.
