In 1980, award-winning architect Paul Tay, and his interior director wife Ruth, acquired the old Valentine's Lodge, a 1950s-style motel.Faced with buildings in the shape of a rectangle, imagination was the order of the day. Ruth's favorite movie, "Support Your Local Sheriff," just happened to be on TV and light bulbs over their heads began flashing. Before you knew it, there was the Bank, on the left in the picture below, and they were off and running.Now you can enjoy the atmosphere of an Old West Town with the feel of a Hollywood Western Movie set.
