“Great food, music and fun!”
Of all the things to do and see, nothing keeps people returning to Silky's quite like our selection of smooth, cold, name-your-proof libations. Silky's has a full bar stocked with whatever you need to shake your thirst. Whether you want a domestic beer or something a little more unique, like their signature drink “The Diver” - we have it. If you're looking for a great place to eat, drink, dance to the dueling pianos, pet our beer-drinking pet goat or just enjoy yourself we are your place on Beale in Memphis, TN! Silky O’Sullivan’s present location on Beale Street, formerly the Gallina building, is over 100 years old, and has more recorded history than any other building on Beale Street. It was a saloon that ran all day and all night with as many as fourteen bartenders. In addition to the bar and restaurant, there was a poker room and a race horse room.
Did not get to see this place on a busy weekend night, but this is where I had the best meal of my trip. Bbq shrimp and ribs
Vicki at Silky O'Sullivan's was very nice to point out all the best places to get try its. The catfish platter was delish. WI born & bread.
This place has something for everyone... One room has dueling pianos... One room feels more like a small Irish pub, and the outdoor patio teems with live music. Beale Street offers tons of fun bars to check out, but Silky's should be on the list of places you stop.
Get 'The Diver' drink
Comfy, casual, with food bbq. The brisket was great. The staff is wonderful. The goats are adorable, even behind the double fencing.
Silky's is by far my favorite Beale St. bar, I have yet to find another bar with goats. Great nightlife and also a nice stop during the day. Sit out on the patio by the goats and listen to some live music while sipping on a Memphis Hurricane!
My favorite bar in Memphis
Fun place with live music and good food!
This is not a pet friendly place and there is no beer drinking goat. There is a stuffed goat who probably used to drink. Boo.
It's pretty divey, but kind of fun. Typical fried food, drinks aren't out-of-control expensive but aren't cheap. They're known for their pet goat!
