“mingle to the music”
Minglewood Hall was voted the #1 place to see Music in Memphis according to readers of The Memphis Flyer, 3 years in a row and counting!! But not only do we have amazing music and concerts, but we also hold some of the best special events in the city for some of the biggest business. We also do weddings, receptions, and anything else you can think of. We also have some great businesses in here such as Revive Energy Bar, Oasis Hookah Lounge, Inked Tattoo shop, & 1884 Lounge (which hosts some of the best local and regional music around in a more intimate setting). The history of Minglewood Blues is long and complex. The original Minglewood Blues, written by Noah Lewis, was recorded on January 30, 1928 in Memphis,TN by Cannons Jug Stompers featuring Gus Cannon on Banjo/Jug, Ashley Thomson on Guitar/Vocal, & Noah Lewis on Harmonica.
