Days Inn by Wyndham Memphis at Graceland

Stayed as a stop over for 1 night. Room was disgusting. Both beds had stains. Toilet had brown substance floating in bottom... pretty sure it was #2. Piles of ashes all over the floor of the room. Pool is awesome though.

We checked in and the staff was very nice. There are signs posted everywhere that they are not responsible for theft in the parking lot. We asked if our car would be safe as the neighborhood is a little rough and they just laughed. We got to our room and it was near and embankment which had a lot of broken bottles and oddly enough, needles. There was a fence to separate the embankment from the parking lot but it had been bent backwards providing easy access to the motel and parking lot. We went to our room and when we closed the door it did not seal and had a sizeable gap, meaning you could see into the room. Full disclosure we did not stay at the night as we went back to the front desk and indicated we would not be staying and opted to drive straight through to our destination. We had two younger children with us and safety was a concern. There were plenty of other guests who were checking in and unloading bags, so perhaps others had a good experience but this establishment did not fit our family's needs.

Perfect comfortable place and perfectly themed for a visit to Graceland. Breakfast was nice and so was staff. Wifi was not very great

It was perfectly fine for a quick overnight. Cool Elvis memorabilia, clean, cool pool, good coffee. Definitely overpriced for what it is, but I have a feeling that it's the nicest motel in the area.

I like that you can walk to Graceland from here, and that there's Elvis memorabilia around. As always, kids under 17 stay free with paying adults, which is nice.
