Ratings Summary
The campground is pretty and well kept. We stayed in the "Hut" cabin and it was clean and nice. We really enjoyed the short, goofy cave tour. Beer is allowed on the boat so it was nice place to enjoy a drink and beat the heat. Ice cream and beer sold in gift shop.
We took all 3 of our kids 5yrs and under on the boat cave tour. We all loved it! The staff was very friendly and the tour was really neat and interesting. Lots of historical facts of the cave and the area. Not only is the cave chilly at 47 degrees, it is a drippy wet cave so jackets are recommended if you want to help stay dry. There are a few places you need to duck way down due to the low ceiling of the cave but we didn't mind. Whole family had a great time! Adults: $12 Kids: $8 Kids 3 & Under are Free.
Clean, manicured beautiful family campground. Lots of activities for kids. They will be completely entertained!
We have a Class A Rv, great gravel spots, a little un level but the view makes up for it. The Spook Cave is a neat tour. Plenty of hiking and small little towns to visit in area. Loved sitting outside listening to the waterfall and little creek. Friendly staff, great little store. If your looking for a resort feel this may not be your pick but if you like beautiful hidden little gem campgrounds, this is it!
