Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on June 26, 2022We pulled in late afternoon. The park is very pretty, well kept. Set in pines with a small creek running through. Really nice and quiet. We were here in mid-October and there was maybe 10 campers here. Looks like it could be crowded in summer. Mostly back-ins with maybe 5 pull thrus.

I booked a site about a month in advance and was looking forward to my stay. When I got there I noticed the sites are very small and close together. I had a spot in the rear of the park and it was dusty as it was gravel and grass. The sites are so close that the trailer next to me awning was less than a foot from my trailer, and with that my door side grass area was only a few feet wide with the other trailers sewer hose right next to my table. Staff was friendly and professional though.

Nicely kept grassy environs, neat and clean. Nice staff. But WAY too crowded! Sites are mostly cheek by jowl, especially in the interior. We arrived on a Thursday and it felt like a weekend! Lots of family activity. People having fun, lots of children. Staff told me that hunting and fishing season are even busier!
Location next to McCloud River and Shasta make it a desirable place to stay, but we would only come back during off season.

Nice, clean campground with a stream and creek near by. Very friendly staff. Facilities are clean and location cannot be beat to venture out for the day to McCloud Falls, Mount Shasta, Burney Falls etc. A mom and pop brewery is at the entrance to the park if that's your fancy as well as a convenience store withing walking distance. Can be a bit crowded during peak season and some spaces are a little tight but that's what we bargain for as RV'ers. Highly recommend this one as it is one of the cleanest we have stayed at.

We enjoyed our stay. The owners and staff are very helpful, accessible and on top of things. Some reviewers have mentioned that the spots are really close together. If you stay in the area of 105-113, the "Deluxe Back-Ins", the spots are spacious. Ours was number 113, and it was a little weird because the hook ups are on the wrong side so we had to use extra long hoses, but it was very spacious. Quiet hours are definitely observed, even on the weekends. The campground is situated in between everything - Mt. Shasta, Lake Siskiyou, Burney Falls, Lassen NP. Perfect Location. *Wifi wasn't great, we just used our hotspots.

This is a very well kept RV park. Some sites are full or partial or tent and cabins. Very family oriented and lots of kids pets and families. Good for an overnight. We prefer less high density but we would stay here again.

We spent 2 nights here in early April 2022 and it was very quiet and uncrowded. We had wanted to camp at the local Forest Service campgrounds "Cattle Camp" or "Fowlers Camp" but they were not open for the season yet. For a RV Park this is as good as it gets. Clean, neat, and tidy. Swell rustic bathrooms and laundry...Very friendly staff...
There are many different kinds of sites to choose from. Some on grass, and some on gravel. Mostly with hook-ups but there are some tent sites and camping cabins too. Sun or shade depending on the weather. When we were there you definitely wanted sun as it was quite cool with low 30's at night.
So much to see in these parts, waterfalls, rivers, volcanic peaks, beautiful forests, and quaint small towns.
A bit of noise from the semi trucks and traffic going by the highway, but nothing unbearable. Some what weak Verizon cell coverage, Wi-Fi only right next to the office.
This is a great home base. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Very nice green lush woodland park. Very very crowded and a tad noisy but we were in a quieter more secluded corner so not really a problem. Only one toilet block for such a large park (in a park with lots glamping tents) means you may need to wait for showers and toilet. No toilet paper in woman’s toilet. And lots of semi-passive aggressive signage everywhere.
But quibbles aside a lovely park and if you can get a quiet spot definitely worth it

Stopped for one night mid November. Brrrr. Got a pull through full hookup. $66. Lots of trees. Looks like a place that is very busy in season
The directions to get to the park are wrong. When you get to McCloud coming from 5 turn right at the Chevron than left into the Park. This may be for winter only so suggest calling first.
We would stay again
