RV Express 66

We are doing a quick blast across the country to take our Airstream back to Ohio for service. After Wally World camping last night, we saw this little RV park when doing a gas stop and decided to check it out. It is very clean and low key but right on the highway so very noisy. We are on a large pull through site so no need for us to unhitch. Concrete pads and patios along with grills and picnic tables at each site. Spotless bathrooms and decent laundry facilities. They do have a pool but not open since it is still early season. Can't imagine staying here for more then a night since we are not really into urban camping but a good option for a quick overnight.

The concept of the park is perfect for short "express" stays. Half the sites are pull through and half back ins. All sites are concrete with a narrow grass area in between. Each site is FHU and has a picnic table and grill. Sites are built with a slight slope and we needed double blocks on one side and single on the other to get the front level. There is an office building that also houses the laundry and restrooms. There is a pool behind it. The office is only manned a few hours a day otherwise, it is self service. No manager lives on site. The personal were extremely friendly. Access to the park could be tricky if there are cars waiting at the light. You make a left at the light and then an immediate left to get into the park which would put you on the main road if the entrance is blocked with cars at the light. The park does site right on the highway so there is road noise. We didn't find it loud inside with our A/C on. At night it did quiet down and wasn't heard over our fan. the park has very good WiFi and the Verizon signal was extremely fast. We stayed here in a 40 ft motorhome.

This place is like the Holiday Inn Express of RV parks. They know their niche and do it well. The park is right off the interstate and is made up of mostly pull through full hook up sites. The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful! Showers were pretty clean and water pressure was good. However if a bunch of people are all showering at the same time the water does get cold. Didn’t use the laundry but it looked clean and sufficient. There is a Walmart nearby and a decent amount of restaurants. Our rate reflects a Good Sam discount. Overall, it’s great place to stop while traveling through if you need some additional conveniences for the night.

Super clean! I really enjoyed the decorations in the facility. Not much to do in the immediate area wifi was good.

Right off interstate. Either back-in or pull through sites with full hookups. Facilities on site (laundry, showers). They have a pool but it wasn’t open due to waiting for pool parts. Nice staff highway noise was loud but drastically reduced around 9-10pm.

Stayed for two nights for a Break from driving. Found it to be very clean with well maintained Sites. Very friendly staff. We will definitely stay here again next year. You do hear some of the Highway noise from the service road when you are outside but we did not notice it so much in our camper.

RV Express is a great idea for the average RV traveler looking for a quick overnight stay. They get major kudos for ease of reservations, easy access, and great facilities (including sparkling restrooms and showers!) The cost of stay includes full hookups, grassy areas for the pets, and laundry facilities. The bad part? Well being close to the highway as well as local city streets, this was one of the noisiest sites that I’ve ever visited! If you are used to city noises, it won’t be a problem, but if not, get ready for the symphony of air brakes, broken mufflers, horns and bass reverb!

This is THE most convenient place to stay if headed out on Route 66. This place is literally beside the Interstate, with easy access to gas and groceries for the road. A safe and very clean place to rest your head for the night. In fact, these were among the cleanest shower houses we have ever seen at a roadside RV Park. Small but serviceable pool. When we stayed in July of 2018, we were going to arrive after the office closed. Recalled ahead and they had our spot reserved, blocked off for us with our name written on a traffic cone and just had us settle up in the morning. Excellent service.
