“the perfect pit-stop on your way to Presque Isle”
Picnic Rocks are known by many locals and visitors a like as the perfect play for a pit-stop on your way to Presque Isle. On either side of the rocks there are white sand beaches. Not to mention, the reason most people go there- for the stunning lake views. If you need a place to stretch your legs, this is definitely the spot!
Also important to know, and there are signs posted in the area, do not go swimming here because there are dangerous rip currents that not even the strongest swimmers can manage. It is still a beautiful view, and there are many places to swim in Marquette, just not here :)
