Paragon Casino RV Resort

This is our first casino stop, and I was impressed by the clean site and amount of facilities included in the price.
Full hook ups, level paved site with small picnic area, but very little shade. Most spots are large pull-throughs.
I enjoyed the Nature Trail to the casino, and the alligators inside the casino were interesting, but I find casinos a bit depressing. Enjoyed listening to the many Mocking Birds in the camp

Large clean laundry, small camp shop with RV supplies, ice, horseshoes, volleyball, shuffleboard, kids playground, pool with cabana area and clubhouse with billiards and pool, exchange library. Cinema & Spa at the casino.
Showers are curtained stalls in the main bathhouse and pool bathrooms. There seem to be only 5 for the whole camp. Not a problem when we were there, but in full season, with over 200 spots?

Casino sends a shuttle bus around the camp for door-to-door service approx every 5 minutes. Plus a security car at night, so it felt very safe.

The town has a number of nice independent eateries and a good local brewery. Restaurants and supplies are only 5 minute drive.

Good Sam & Passport America discounts

We were in the area for Eric's work. This is a large, clean facility with nice bathrooms and an air conditioned laundry plus a pool. We also found quite a bit of good food in the area. We have a YouTube about our stay that you can link to in the blog section.

This place is exceptional. We used our passport America discount to pay 12:50 a night for our stay. Full hookups, lots of space between sites, great water pressure and a shuttle to the casino. It does get busy with weekenders so the music bumps a bit. You just can’t beat all they offer especially for that price.

Not using amenities due to Covid (lounge, billiards). Pool and pool are good. Bathrooms clean. Customer service was OK. Some of the facility needs work (playground, volleyball, resort store). Is this really one of the highest rated RV Resorts? Say it ain’t so. This is my first experience with an RV. I will give Paragon another shot when I come back to play the golf course across the street. I did not go in the casino, so I cannot comment on it. There is a complimentary shuttle from RV park to the casino.

Very large campground with spacious sites. WiFi worked good along with cable. Very clean and well maintained. Concrete patio with concrete picnic table. Very little shade. Only problem is people speed pretty fast in the campground, seems to be the people staying in the cabins.

Used my Passport America so it was only $16. The park was pretty empty so I was able to get a pull-thru site on the end with lots of grass for my dog. I didn’t use the casino and the clubhouse was closed due to Covid. The park was very clean and I saw security patrolling the area frequently. Some of the back in sites along the south edge have wooden bench swings which would be really nice in the warmer months.

Pretty nice park but let loud music go on day night.

Very large RV park with 30/50 amp service, sewer and water at each site- great choice! With a large number of pull-thru and back in sites, there were only 10 occupied sites in mid-January when we visited. Can’t praise the layout, cleanliness and friendly staff high enough, it was remarkable. Each site had a picnic table and perfectly clean. It sits right behind the casino so for those who gamble it’s within easy walking distance.

The reception center/pool/club house (overlooking the pool) is very comfortable and has pool tables, a small library, fireplace and bathrooms that were immaculate. Since it’s 13 degrees here right now we skipped the pool experience. You will love this park! Paragon does everything right.
