one of the greatest campsites I've been to. if waking up to beautiful views of the canyons and the Colorado river sounds good to you, stay here! restrooms are clean and the campgrounds take credit/debit too.

The campground was less than half full, even on a Saturday, but it was November. $6 per night with the Senior pass. No hookups or showers, but there are flush toilets in the bathroom, drinking water is available, and a dump site is nearby. Many of the sites will require some work to level the rig. I didn't have any AT&T signal, but if I recall correctly, we had a workable Verizon signal with the antenna and amplifier the previous time we were here. Each site has a picnic table / wind shelter. It's a great spot to camp if you want to watch groups rigging for river trips through the canyon.

Price went from $12 in 2014 to $18 in March 2016 (reduced 50% with the Access Pass)

We arrived on a Wednesday and the campground was only about a quarter full. A lot of people only stay one night. Park Rangers drove through the campground on a regular basis. The Navajo Bridge historic site is near the entrance to the campground. If you need the dump station and drinking water don’t enter the campground driveway. Go a little further up the road and watch for the RV DUMP sign. The dump station lot is big enough for the largest rigs. The NPS website says vehicle limit is 35 feet. There are several sites that can accommodate rigs up to 40. The park roads to and from the campground are in excellent shape and have pull-offs to take photos of the amazing landscape. Verizon signal was great for phone and hotspot. Price was still $12 ($6 for senior pass) when we visited.

The campground overlooks the confluence of the Colorado River and the Paria River and is looked down upon by the Vermillion Cliffs. If you are lucky enough to snag a site at the end overlooking the river, the view is amazing. The other sites are ok, but not as nice. The back-in sites have fences between them to provide privacy. There are curved shelters over the picnic tables that block the sun and wind coming from the east. In the late afternoon, when it is the hottest, you are in the full sun as there are not many trees. There are large pull-through sites in the center of the lower camping loop. These sites will accommodate big rigs, but are not at all level. We had to move to a back in as there was no way we could level up in the center. The bathrooms are tired, and ok clean. Our cell service was great here.

You come here for the Vermillion Cliffs and the Colorado River, not for the campground. From the viewpoint of someone who usually boondocks and doesn't need hookups, this campground is serviceable but not much more than that. I was there on a Wednesday and the dumpsters were full. You might get a good view of the river if you're lucky enough to get one of the lower sites. But, hey, there's 4G Verizon available.

We only stayed one night in this campground, but I wished I could stay more. The Lee's Ferry area is a wonderland of towering red cliffs and gorgeous vistas. The campground is dwarfed by the immense scenery. We went in late April and our campsite was filled with flowering cactus (opuntia) and other wildflowers. Just down from the campground, in walking distance, is the Colorado river. The water is very cold, but there is a nice beach where three colors of water come together without really mixing. The affect is stunning.

The downside to this campground is that the sites are very close to each other. This seems odd since this campground is located on a large plateau with lots more room to spread out the campground more. Also there is no shade except for metal awnings over the picnic table. There aren't even bushes so it is next to impossible to get away from others in the campground. It was also very windy and there is nothing to block the wind.

The bathrooms were reasonably clean, flushed well and had adequate lighting. They are centrally located so none of the campsites were inconvenient to access the toilets. There were no showers that I found.

The upside is that the campground was quiet and there is a lot to do in the area. I recommend checking out Antelope Canyon in Page, but there are also lots of hikes close in to the campground.

We were planning to boondock at Badger Creek (https://www.campendium.com/badger-creek-campground) which is GORGEOUS, but we couldn't get the trailer in there so we resorted to a campground...

Cell service is good here, even though it seems like it may not be on the way in.

No camping along the river...probably due to flood potential. We heard water releases from the dam overnight and noticed the river must have been at least a foot higher during the night. Caught some trout while fly fishing...though many locals used the beach for play/fishing so one area wasn't exactly relaxing. Plenty of area to move around though.

This is where they drop in rafts for floating the Colorado river though the Grand Canyon. Spoke to several people ready for their first or last trip down...great stories.

Campground is basic, does have covered shelters in many spots, some pull through, few with a view of the river but we got one. Could hear the river from any site which was nice.

No hook-ups, clean restroom, no shower, evening temps were reasonable after a hot day if you have some ventilation. This was a fishing pit stop for us on the way to the north rim. Beautiful stop.

Pulled into page, hoping to stay close to antelope canyon. Ended up driving 45 minutes to Lee’s ferry, and am glad I did. Overlooking the river, the sound of rushing water, views for ever. Sites are nicely spread out, easy access to the river as well as hiking. I chose to read, and the environment was awesome. Bathrooms are nice as well.
