Friendly staff, older park, sites slightly unlevel. A bit far from Amish country. Lots of noise from turnpike

The grounds were well maintained, they have a bathhouse and laundry, firewood and a small shop. Staff were friendly and organized at check-in. We were escorted to our site which was in the 400 section which is close to the turnpike. Site was pretty level, with crushed stone. We stayed to attend the Hershey RV show. Due to the freeway and firing range, this was the loudest campground I have ever stayed at and not much to do in the immediate area. We have a well insulated class A but heard the traffic even when watching TV. We did sleep through most of it but were woken at least twice. Very loud outside and difficult to relax with all the noise.

Pinch Pond is set in the woods or rural Pennsylvania. There were a few low hanging leaves as well pulled off the freeway and onto the highway roads.
We pulled up to the gate and checked in. They gave us a card that activates the gate on the way in. In the office, they have a little store with some toys, a small section of groceries and a game room.
We got a pull-thru site that had just enough room for the truck on the side. No problem with the utilities, but it was too wooded to get much use out of Starlink.
The pool was not yet open for the season. On weekends, they have special activities for the kids. Since we were there during Star Wars week, the craft was to make a glow-in-the-dark light saber.
There was a construction pile on the turnaround around and they built out the deck the whole week we were there. We also ended up hitting a low hanging telephone wire with our RV in the campground. Overpriced for the limited amenities.
We were able to use our Verizon phones and AT&T data plan with 3 bars on each, but got 5 bars on our Verizon phones.

We stayed here to visit Hershey. Staff was friendly, most sites pretty level, some of the long term areas had some bad, BAD stuff mixed in, but did not hamper the front area of the park. Power and cable good - where we parked, we could not get Direct TV. Water had a bad smell, in fact, we rewashed cloths after we left the park that we washed while there. We were back in the dark overgrown section, never again. May be ok out in the front areas.

We stayed here just by chance and were lucky they had a spot open for us. We were greeted by friendly and helpful people at the check-in station and then escorted to our spot. We were up by the county road and not far from the PA Turnpike so road noise was heard, but didn't interfere with talking, sleeping or listening to TV.
We had good cable service and our spot was level. We were there when many of the seasonal members were having a Halloween party. Lot's of fun and friendly people.
Our water was good, not the best, but good enough for me to fill our water tanks.
The ladies [young women] in the front office were the daughters of the owners. They were really friendly and helpful.
This was only 30 minutes from Harrisburg and we liked our ability to get to various sites in Harrisburg [the Civil War Museum] and other activities.

We were so lucky for them to find us a spot on a holiday weekend. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Spots are gravel and fairly level and wide. We were told our 50amp might be iffy but had no troubles whatsoever.
Nice pool area and playgrounds for the kids. Children all around us were making new friends and playing basketball and a little soccer.
If your needing satellite, good luck. WiFi was great as well as cable tv. Fee for internet but reasonable.

We enjoy going to Celtic Fling at Mt Hope Winery every summer and this campground was a 5 minute Uber ride from the site, so that is what sold us.
First, the staff was awesome. We were greeted at the gate and shown directly to our site by guide. We didnt have to register until we finished setting up. I thought thatbwas very nice.
The site was fairly level, graveled, with cable, 30 amps, sewer, and water. We had a nice picnic table and fire ring. Camp store was good, they let us borrow cable for hook up and the ice cream was great. Our site was relatively spacious for this type of campground. Some spots were very close together though.
Negatives: loud. Noises included shooting from the gun range next door, highway traffic (very close), and the standard guest noises. Also not great were the more run down looking seasonals, but not much can be done about that.
